La TRPOCB a détaillé les réponses reçues par la CAQ (en lien avec le respect de l’autonomie, le financement et les iniquités entre les organismes communautaires autonomes en santé et services sociaux), particulièrement décevantes : Pas de promesse d’augmentation véritable des subventions ; Pas de promesse d’indexation suffisante pour éviter l’appauvrissement ; Une vision utilisatrice des organismes.
Le Réseau FADOQ a transmis ses félicitations au premier ministre tout en lui rappelant les engagements que son parti a pris envers les personnes aînées, notamment :
- L’allocation de 2 000 $ promise aux 70 ans et plus à bas revenu;
- L’amélioration de l’offre de services de soins à domicile, notamment en ce qui concerne l’hospitalisation à domicile;
- Une flexibilité accrue au niveau du Régime de rentes du Québec rendant optionnelles les cotisations pour tous les salariés de 65 ans et plus.
Les aînés, qui se sont sentis oubliés pendant la campagne électorale, ne veulent pas être ignorés par le prochain gouvernement, a indiqué l’Association québécoise des retraités des secteurs public et parapublic (AQRP). Il est primordial de tenir des états généraux pour réfléchir à l’ajustement de l’offre de services pour les soins à domicile.
Durant la campagne électorale, le premier ministre sortant a vanté le projet de maisons des aînés en affirmant qu’il n’y a « rien de trop beau pour nos aînés ». L’Association des retraitées et retraités de l’éducation et des autres services publics du Québec (AREQ-CSQ) s’attend à ce que le même enthousiasme s’applique aux soins à domicile et auxCHSLDvétustes.
L’Association des chiropraticiens du Québec (ACQ) félicite le nouveau gouvernement du Québec et rappelle avoir demandé aux cinq principaux partis politiques de s’engager à régler une situation qu’elle juge problématique : à l’heure actuelle, les accidentés du travail et de la route ne peuvent bénéficier de soins chiropratiques que si ceux-ci ont été prescrits par un omnipraticien. Par conséquent, l’ACQ constate que les décideurs préfèrent mettre entre les mains d’un réseau de la santé saturé des actes qui pourraient être réalisés par des professionnels compétents et adéquatement formés, œuvrant à l’extérieur de celui-ci.
Au lendemain de la réélection de la CAQ, les syndicats l’appellent à changer d’attitude et à faire preuve de plus d’« humilité ».
